3. Hazard Identification

Fire Non-flammable
Inhalation Excess of spray – coughing.
Skin contact Irritation. Prolonged or frequent contact may lead to de-fatting of skin.
Eye contact Irritation and burning.

4. First Aid Measures

Inhalation Move patient to fresh air.
Skin contact Rinse area well with water. If necessary, use a hand cream to replenish moisture.
Eye contact Rinse eyes with water for 15 minutes. Irrigate eyes thoroughly while lifting eyelids and rolling eyeballs If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Ingestion Rinse mouth with water, and allow patient as much water as possible. If large quantities have been swallowed, seek medical attention.

Extinguish with dry powder, CO2 or foam or water.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Small Spills Remove excess with absorbent material and flush residue with plenty of water.
Large Spills Dyke ahead of liquid spill. Prevent the discharge of product into sewerage and water courses
General When disposing large quantities, the alkaline nature of the product should be taken into consideration.

Storage Store in a cool, dry area – keep containers sealed. Good normal warehouse practices.

If the specific application may result in splashing, safety goggles should be supplied.

Dilute product 1000 times and run to waste with plenty of water.
When disposing large quantities, the alkaline nature and solubility of the product in water (section9) should be taken into consideration.
